Fresh pot of coffee
Fresh pot of coffee
Is there anything better than
A fresh pot of coffee?

When it's Monday morning and
You're really tired and stuff
Because you have kids that think
6:00 am is a reasonable time to wake up
On the weekends.

Fresh pot of coffee
Is especially good
When it doesn't have the orange plastic thing on it
That means it's decaf.

Coffee doesn't taste very good
When it's been sitting around for hours,
So I prefer when it's a
Fresh pot of coffee.

Also I hate it when there's not enough coffee
Left in the pot to fill my cup
Then I have to brew more
And it takes like three minutes
And by the time I get around
To going back to the coffee maker
I've gotten stuck on the phone
And other people have drank
All the coffee I just brewed.
How rude!

But today the stars aligned,
And when I went for my second cup
There it was sitting on the burner:
